RJ's passion for photography developed in high school, where some of his favorite activities were venturing off on photography class assignments and spending countless hours developing prints in the darkroom. It sparked a lifelong love for capturing moments and memories.

SlowGlo Photography, born from a happy accident, now specializes in two distinct forms of photography to celebrate the beauty of light: Light Painting and Astrophotography. 

Light Painting blends long-exposure techniques capturing the movement of LED glow items to create mesmerizing images showcasing the dynamic beauty of light in motion.

RJ discovered Astrophotography at a time when I truly needed it: during the pandemic. I then traveled to several Dark Sky Parks to delve into the wonders of the night sky, capturing awe-inspiring images of celestial events and the vastness of space.    

RJ is a Xavier University graduate with a B.S.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Studies, 

and is a native of Columbus, Ohio.
